This workshop introduces the idea of C.R.U.D. (Create, Read, Update, and Delete) and provides the attendee with the opportunity to write a PHP application to implement CRUD functionality as well as work with a 3rd party solution for implementing data grids. The workshop also introduces the idea of using the Nginx web server as a proxy server and using containers to segment each attendees’ work/packages.
Logistics:
- The workshop would be run on a public facing IBM i partition.
- Attendees would need a laptop that has the following installed: ssh-client (PuTTY on Windows, built in on Mac), and a web-browser.
- Internet access would be required.
